i've been scanning a lot of old pictures lately, and i found this one. I think it has most if not all of the middle school archetypes: hesher, nerd, sullen jock, grade A students still in their chairs.... 

The california wildflowers are out in full force this year thanks to the punishing rain this winter...I think i used to call these sherbet flowers as a child.
